WRIF is licensed to Detroit, Michigan and broadcasts at Metro Detroit area. Currently this radio station is owned by Greater Media, Inc. (Greater Boston Radio, Inc.) and is affiliated with United Stations Radio Networks. WRIF started broadcasting in 1948 as WXYZ-FM with simulcasting WXYZ-AM programming.
